Description
CommentXpert adds an option for users to mark comments as private, viewable only by admins and the comment author. CommentXpert is the free plugin to add the functionality of private commenting which allows website registered users to submit comments for any posts. When any user submit the private post, the comment will go for the admin review and approval. Once the admin user will approve the private comments it will only visible to the comment author and admin users. Other website users or visitors could not be able to see these private comments except comment author and admin users. Admin users still have the rights to make any private comments as a public comment if admin found that comment helpful to other users and also admin can make any public comments as a private comment on the comment author request.

Go to WP Admin -> CommentXpert which will display the CommentXpert Settings page, Enable Private Comments setting to post private comments. 
Based on WordPress discussion settings, CommentXpert will add a checkbox option under comment form on any post to do private comment on that post. 
Once any comment received on any post, it will be displayed under comments menu for comment approval by admin user where admin has option to make it public and make it private vice versa.
Installation
- Go to
Plugins -> Add Newand search for CommentXpert. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
- Go to WP Admin -> CommentXpert which will display the CommentXpert Settings page.
- Enable the Enable Private Comments setting checkbox to allow users to post private comments.
